Posters (and prizes)! Submission deadline: July 17
The deadline to submit your poster abstracts for the Acceleration Consortium’s (AC) first annual Accelerate Conference is fast approaching! Based at the University of Toronto, the AC is a global community of academia, government, and industry who are accelerating the discovery of new materials and molecules needed for a sustainable future.

Posters and prizes
As part of our upcoming Accelerate Conference in Toronto (Aug 30–Sept 2, 2022), we’re inviting abstract submissions for poster presentations. Poster prizes will be generously provided by the Royal Society of Chemistry journal, Digital Discovery.
We welcome abstracts that feature novel work related to the latest methods, applications and research translation in accelerated materials and molecular discovery. Accelerate will be a meeting place for those keen to be at the forefront of accelerated discovery, to exchange ideas, advance research and explore opportunities for collaboration.
Abstracts that address conference tracks are highly encouraged:
Fundamental discovery methods and leading-edge tools: Deep and machine learning algorithms for AI-aided experimental design, quantum-based materials simulations and optimized structure-function models, chemical synthesis and materials characterization, chemical ontologies and materials databases, and robotics and control systems
Sustainable materials for a resilient world: Development of solid-state materials, sustainable soft materials, low-carbon structural materials, small molecule drugs, etc.
Designing a translation ecosystem: Leadership in commercialization, training, and education
We welcome submissions from researchers at all stages of their career working in academia, industry, or government. We also invite submissions from community organizations who are doing new and innovative work in these areas.
If you think someone in your network might be a perfect fit, help us spread the word on Twitter and LinkedIn.
The deadline to submit poster abstracts is fast approaching this Sunday, July 17! Have questions? Please reach out: acceleration@utoronto.ca.
