Join us at the University of Toronto for the 4^th annual Accelerate, an interdisciplinary conference organized by the Acceleration Consortium to explore the future of accelerated scientific discovery. Learn how self-driving labs are changing the way we do science, using AI and automation to create materials and molecules in a fraction of the usual time and cost – from faster electronics and stronger bridges to cleaner energy and more precise medicine.

Accelerate is a global platform to share ideas, research, and collaborate with experts in this emerging field. It is an opportunity to connect in-person for talks, hands-on workshops, and social events with a community working to realize a materially better future.

Call for abstracts

Once again this year, we welcome abstract submissions for conference talks, posters, and workshops across our 3 content tracks outlined below. Application deadline: April 14, 2025.

1. The tools
   Accelerating discovery with leading-edge tools such as machine learning algorithms for AI-aided experimental design, quantum-based materials simulations and characterization, chemical ontologies and materials databases, robotics and control systems for high-throughput experimentation, and more.

2. The materials
   Accelerating development of sustainable materials and molecules for a resilient world across applications such as solid-state materials for energy storage, nanoparticle formulations, soft materials for electronics, organic small molecule drugs, and more.

3. The ecosystem
   Designing ethical and equitable translation ecosystems for accelerated discovery, including commercialization, training, education, access, and more.
