Preliminary speakers and panellists! Early-bird registration closes: July 31
With the Acceleration Consortium’s (AC) first annual conference just weeks away (Aug 30–Sept 2, 2022), we’re excited to share our preliminary list of confirmed speakers and panellists. Based at the University of Toronto, the AC is a global community of academia, government, and industry who are accelerating the discovery of new materials and molecules needed for a sustainable future.

Accelerate is an interdisciplinary conference designed to bring together change-makers in academia, industry and government who are shaping the emerging field of accelerated science. From August 30 to September 2, 2022, join us in Toronto to explore the power of self-driving labs (SDLs), which combine AI, automation, and advanced computing to accelerate materials and molecular discovery. Register before July 31 to take advantage of early-bird prices!

Preliminary program
Conference talks, workshops, and networking opportunities will allow attendees to connect with a global community working to realize a healthier, more sustainable, and materially different future. Join us to explore topics across our three content tracks:
Fundamental discovery and leading-edge tools: Deep and machine learning algorithms for AI-aided experimental design, quantum-based materials simulations and optimized structure-function models, chemical synthesis and materials characterization, chemical ontologies and materials databases, and robotics and control systems
Sustainable materials for a resilient world: Development of solid-state materials, sustainable soft materials, low-carbon structural materials, small molecule drugs, etc.
Designing a translation ecosystem: Leadership in commercialization, training, and education
